Spitting Burgers At Clients To Book Gigs
by Ken DyneIt was kind of embarrassing when some of my burger almost fell out of my mouth last night while having dinner with a client.
You see, this morning I'm doing a talk here in Leeds so I came down and stayed over last night.
The lovely client, Lorna, and her colleague took me out for dinner last night.
The most amazing thing happened.
As we sat drinking wine and eating fancy burgers, Lorna was telling me all about the 50-something events she organises each year.
Yeah, my mouth almost dropped open.
So lesson for you, having dinner and spend time with your client.
Don't be a diva.
Spend time with them and more opportunities will come your way.
